Where it all began
Mary Valley Essence was founded out of a desire to bring peace and positivity to people's lives amidst the challenges faced of everyday life. As someone living a fast-paced life — raising teenagers, working a full-time job, serving as an auxiliary and rural firefighter, and volunteering with the State Emergency Services — I know first-hand the pressures of modern life and the toll they can take on mental wellbeing. Working in emergency response, I've witnessed the impact of stress not only on myself but also on my colleagues and the community in their most vulnerable state.
This personal connection to stress, anxiety, and loss has deeply influenced my commitment to promoting well-being and self-care. After losing my brother to suicide, I truly understood how deep the effects of depression can be. With Mary Valley Essence, I want to help others create positive, safe environments in their homes—spaces where they can nurture their mental, emotional, and physical health.

Living in the stunning Mary Valley region, I am constantly inspired by its natural beauty. The valley offers an abundance of peaceful places to find solace—whether it's sitting by a waterfall, hiking through lush forests, gazing at breathtaking views, or listening to music as I drive past rolling farms and small country towns. At night, the sky comes alive with stars, and the comforting smell of campfire smoke fills the air, reminding me of the simple joys of life.
